Joining a Toastmaster Club is one of the best things you can do to improve your speaking skills. Toastmasters is a non-profit organization that has clubs all over the country. Each club meets on a regular basis and the members take turns giving speeches to the group. You will find that everybody is welcoming and supportive. Executive Director of the Bureau. In this book they shares their extensive
knowledge about how to become a successful professional speaker.

on the Platform by Lily Walters.
This book gives you lots of examples of how to respond when things go wrong when
you are giving a speech. Next time you forget your words, the microphone
malfunctions or you have a heckler, you will know what to say and what to do to save the
situation.
